Craft Scotland have set up a fantastic opportunity to meet illustrator/ maker Lucy Roscoe.
Explore the world of sculptural books, learning to use traditional bookbinding skills and manipulate them to create three dimensional forms. Come away with three different books and plenty of ideas!
When: Wednesday 15th August, 10am – 1pm
Where: White Stuff, Fringe Venue 205, Second Floor, 89 George Street, Edinburgh, EH2 3ES
How: To be in with a chance for you and a friend to take part at this year’s Summer Show workshop please tell us why you want to spend half a day with Lucy and learn to make sculptural books
Please note: You must be over 14 to apply for this reward. If you are under 16 your second place must be for a parent, guardian or responsible adult aged 18 or over
About Lucy Roscoe: Lucy Roscoe is an illustrator and maker based in Edinburgh. She uses drawing, printmaking and craft skills to explore how sculptural books can be used to tell stories. Lucy graduated with an MFA in Illustration from Edinburgh College of Art in 2010 and continues to teach on the Undergraduate Illustration programme.
