What are the Sustainable Development Goals?
Between now and 2030, the SDGs intend to end poverty and hunger once and for all; to fight inequalities; to ensure the lasting protection of the planet and its resources; and to create conditions for a strong economy and shared prosperity.
“We are the first generation that can end poverty and the last generation that can take steps to avoid the worst impact of climate change. Future generations will judge us harshly if we fail to uphold our moral and historical responsibilities”. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon
